Exhibit Space General Settings

Navigate to Exhibit Space Manager > Exhibit Space Setup > General Settings.

The general setup for Exhibit Space Manager has six separate areas.  The areas are:

Exhibit Space Setup

Exhibit Space Sales Active: This Yes/No toggle will turn Exhibit Space Sales on/off. It should be noted that this is a separate action, though analogous to the activation of regular Product sales done through the Ticket Icon fly-out menu.

Important: If you are using the Exhibit Space Applications to vet and sell your exhibit floor space, sales are made via single-purchase links, which do not require the exhibit space sales page to be active. To prevent unwanted purchases, it is not advised to open your exhibit space sales page to the public when using exhibit space applications.

 

Start Categories Collapsed:  The default setting of the Exhibit Space Purchase Page expands the first category by default. However, you may prefer all Exhibit Space Categories to be equally displayed. This toggle option enables the collapsing of the initial category, requiring the purchasing vendor to select the specific category for purchasing a type.


 

Enable Management Pages: This Yes/No toggle enables vendors to access a page from their Exhibit Space Confirmation Page and Email. This page allows vendors to manage some segments of their data, so you do not need to devote resources to it.

Voucher Sending from Management Pages: You may want vendors to be able to send Vouchers for Products. This could be to their staff for Exhibitor Badges or even Admission tickets to boost attendance numbers for the event. This Yes/No toggle enables that feature from the Management Page.

Management Page Voucher Product: If the above option is set to Yes, this dropdown allows you to select which Product can be sent via Voucher on the vendor Management Page.

Sales Off Message: When Exhibit Sales are inactive, the default text visible to the public says, "Exhibit Space Sales are not active. Please Check Back Later." This field allows you to customize the second part of that vocabulary.

Exhibit Space Details: This is general information applicable across all Exhibit Space Types and displayed on the Exhibit Space Purchase Page.

Exhibit Space Disclaimer: This text will be displayed when the Vendor Customer clicks on the "Event Specific Disclaimer" link they must agree to to complete a purchase.

Confirmation Email Text: This allows you to customize the verbiage in the Confirmation Email a Vendor receives upon completing a successful Exhibit Space purchase.

Charge Tax: This Yes/No toggle sets the tax rules for this event for Exhibit Space sales, and when toggled to yes, opens another option where the tax rate can be placed. This does not mean that every Exhibit Space Type for this event is Taxable. This creates the rule that Types marked as Taxable will follow.

Customer Service Phone: This adds a phone number to a customer's Confirmation Email.

Customer Service Email: This adds an email address to a customer's Confirmation Email.

Show Assigned Space Map on Checkout Page: This Yes/No toggle creates a button on the Exhibit Space Purchase Page "Click here to view Exhibit Space Map".  When a user clicks this button, they are taken to the URL in the "Alt Map Link" field below this toggle. 

Map Link Text: If the following option, Alt Map Link, is filled out with a URL, this field allows the Client to customize the text using the created button.  It defaults to "Click here to view Exhibitor Map."

Alt Map Link: You can link to an external map of their Exhibit Floor/Hall by placing the proper URL here.  This will create a button on the Exhibit Space Purchase Page directing Vendors there.
