Third Party Conversion Tracking

Third-party conversion tracking allows you to connect your various marketing tracking codes— Meta Pixel, Google Tag Manager, and Google Analytics 4 (GA4).

Important - Leap Support

Leap provides the ability to add third-party tracking tools such as Google Analytics (GA4) or Meta Pixel directly within the platform.

However, we are not able to offer any support or consultation for developing or interpreting your broader marketing or conversion tracking strategy. If you need help with campaign setup, analytics interpretation, or advanced tracking solutions, we recommend working with a dedicated marketing agency or analytics professional.

Access

From the side bar, select Marketing > Third Party Conversion

Adding Credentials

To enable either of the tracking options, simply enter your tracking credentials for whatever service you are using.

Meta Pixel

This is a tracking number created in the Advertising section of Meta. (Ex: 6025115742966)

You can comma-separate Pixel IDs to include multiple.

Google Tag Manager

This will load the Google Tag Manager code into the appropriate places on front facing ticketing pages. (Ex: GTM1234XXX)

Google Analytics 4

This will load your GA4 code into the appropriate places on the front-facing Leap Conventions pages. (Ex: G-xxxxxxx)

Here are the following events we track and when they're triggered:

  • begin_checkout
    • When a visitor lands on the checkout page
  • add_to_cart
    • When a dropdown is selected for a specific product by a visitor
  • remove_from_cart
    • When the trash can icon is selected in the fly-out by a visitor
  • add_payment_info
    • When the visitor begins to fill out the 'Billing Address' field
  • Purchase
    • When a visitor lands on the confirmation page when checkout=complete

Note

Event tracking provides an approximate estimate of conversion data rather than an exact measurement. We are actively working to enhance this integration and implement necessary adjustments. The specific event configuration (e.g., After Checkout questions, surveys) can influence the data transmitted through these events.

After adding the credentials, select Update Tracking.
