Phishing scams are a common tactic bad actors use to impersonate trusted organizations and steal sensitive information. While we have not encountered specific phishing attempts targeting Leap Conventions, it's important to stay vigilant. Fraudulent emails may trick you into providing account details, such as your email address and password, by claiming to offer refunds, urgent account updates, or other misleading requests. If you receive an unexpected email asking you to log in or provide personal information, do not click any links or share your credentials.
How can I know which emails are legitimate?
Generally, you will receive direct communication from the Leap Conventions product or our client support team from these emails:
- @leapevent.tech
In addition, these phishing attempts sent to our clients by bad actors include a malicious link labeled 'View details of this transaction". That link leads to a fraudulent website with a fake login screen, which attempts to steal your Conventions username and password. Do not click on these fraudulent links as they are not provided by us.
If you are ever in doubt about the veracity of a link in an email from our company or any other company, hover over the link to preview it and confirm whether it leads to the company's URL.

Contact Client Services at clients.conventions@leapevent.tech, and we can verify the email.
