Volunteer Application Settings

To get started with Volunteer Applications, you will want to configure them for optimal use.

Navigate to Volunteer Manager > Volunteer Application > Application Settings.

  • Volunteer Application On - Enable or disable the application
  • Volunteer Application Off Redirect - Set a custom redirect location/website if volunteer applications are disabled
  • Hide Expanded Application Calendar - Simplifies the application process via a calendar where applicants assign their availability
  • Require Application Availability - Enables location for volunteers to input their dates of availability
  • Allow Availability Update - Enables the volunteer to update their availability after submitting the initial application
  • Require Unique Email- Enable to require a unique email address for every submission
    • This is helpful for individuals who share an email address. Since Leap Conventions relies on email address as a unique identifier, you can prevent multiple applicants from using the same email.

       
  • Volunteer Application Off Message - Enter a custom message that will display when your volunteer application is disabled
  • Email Address to BCC on Application - Enter an email address to receive a copy of each application submission

Volunteer Application Text

Enter any custom information you want the volunteer to see when applying. Any info added here will display at the top of the application page.

Volunteer Application Calendar Text

Enter any custom information you want the volunteer to see when interacting with the availability calendar.

Example: "Please indicate below your availability for the event.."

 

Volunteer Disclaimer

Enter any custom information for the application disclaimer. The volunteer must agree to these terms and digitally sign it.

 Volunteer Email Confirmation Text

Customize the confirmation text that gets sent to the the applicant upon form submission.
