To add a new product, select Products > Products from the sidebar navigation.

- Give your product a custom name
- Choose from your list of product categories
- Select Create Product
- You will be taken to the edit screen for your product. To get started, we will configure the basic settings of the product. This is the pathway to getting your tickets on sale!
Basic Settings
- Active - The product will appear, and can be sold online through the purchase page
- Active In App - The product will appear, and can be sold on site using the sales tab of the Check In App
- Admission Product - Toggle yes or no. Does this product grant an attendee admission to the event/venue?
- Lock Contact Information - This removes the 'Edit' button on the Confirmation Page and can turned off/on at any time. By default, this toggle will be set to 'No', meaning that the 'Edit' button is available on the Confirmation Page unless updated to 'Yes.'
- Note: If After Checkout questions are enabled, this lock will not apply to any of those configurations set
- Example: As an event producer, I want to issue vouchers for my back of house staff. Although throughout the claiming process the Name and Email address is locked - there is an opportunity for them to use the 'Edit' function on the Confirmation that would allow them to edit the information on the ticket. By using the Lock Contact Information on that specific ticket, I can be ensured that the information won't be updated without my knowledge.
- Note: If After Checkout questions are enabled, this lock will not apply to any of those configurations set
- Product Category - Change the category if needed
- Product Name - Change the category name if needed
- Product Description - Enter a description of this product. Keep it short, informative, and sweet. Think the size of a Twitter tweet!
- More Info Text - If you want to add even more information to the product description, enter it here. It will create a button with your text that links to the URL below
- More Info Link - The link you want to present to the attendee when accessing the More Info Text button
- Price Each - Mark the individual price of this product
- Taxable - Mark if this product is taxable. This corresponds to the tax setup in Product Setup
- Limited Quantity - Marking as yeswill display more fields for inventory control
- Quantity Available - Enter the available quantity of this product
- When To Show Quantity Left - This value determines when Leap Conventions will start to display how many products remain
- Custom Sold Out Text - Enter custom text to display once all products have been sold
